Every city we visit, we try to make it to the local children’s museum (see LA here). Some of my favorite childhood memories involve day trips with my grandmother, sister and brother to the National Children’s Museum.

Situated on the Navy Pier, the Chicago’s Children’s Museum boasts a kids town, giant treehouse, water play, play fire department, and more. Dakota had so much fun only the promise of a smoothie could tear her away after hours of play.
