Before tomorrow’s rainfall, today seemed like the perfect opportunity to check out the William Paca House and Garden in downtown Annapolis. We skipped the historic house tour (Dakota is a bit too young and rambunctious!) in favor of the self-guided garden tour .

Considering how much Dakota loves to smell the flowers we bring home from the market, I figured she’d love to spend the morning exploring a garden as vast as she could see. It turns out playing with pebbles was the highlight of our little trip.

Nearly 70 degrees with a slight breeze made for the perfect day for exploring gardens, grabbing a sushi lunch (Joss Café & Sushi Bar… although be warned they don’t have highchairs), and wandering around downtown Annapolis. Of course, Ducky joined us for entire adventure.
