After FINALLY getting some beautiful weather after all this rain (helloooo 65 and sunny!) it was definitely time to take Dakota out on her first pumpkin patch excursion of the season.

Finding a pumpkin patch with all of its attractions open during the week isn’t so easy but Queen Anne Farm was just the ticket. It’s a smaller farm in Bowie, Maryland with a beautiful sunflower field, pumpkin patch, play areas for children, picnic areas and a cute market with fresh produce (we left arms overflowing with local okra, tomatoes, honey crisp apples, and apple cider).

Since we ventured out during the week, the patch was just crowded enough for Dakota to freely explore but also make a few friends along the way. While she wasn’t too pleased about getting dirty in the pumpkin patch (“mess!!!”), Dakota had a blast investigating the clean pumpkins, playing inside a giant pumpkin house, and saying hello to the farm’s chickens.
