After LA we jumped over to San Francisco to meet with some of our close friends. Just minutes from our friends’ apartment in San Francisco is the California Academy of Sciences. It’s definitely geared toward children a bit older than Dakota but there was plenty for her to explore.

We got to check out the aquarium, rainforest, swamp, and the largest living roof in the state. As with anything that has to do with animals, Dakota thoroughly enjoyed herself. She got to touch a starfish, watch a penguin feeding and run around vast tanks of colorful fish! I had been hesitant to take her to the Baltimore Aquarium in the past because I worried she wasn’t quite old enough to appreciate it, but now that is definitely on our to-do list!
